Bentley today opened up its new Continental Supersports Convertible – the soft-top version of the E85-swilling Supersports coupé. It's the fastest rag-top ever to roll out of Crewe's gates, hitting 60mph in 3.9sec and 202mph flat out.The four-seater Conti Supersports Convertible follows closely the format of the 2009 coupé and arrives as Bentley has extended the Supersports' E85 diet across the entire 2011 model year Continental range. It's all part of Bentley's pledge to have every model biofuel-compatible by 2012, a key plank in its bid to make Bentleys acceptable in a carbon-crunched world.
Production Lexus NX teased ahead of Beijing 2014
There were at least a couple of outings for the Lexus LF-NX Concept last year – the Lexus take on a more compact SUV come Crossover to sit below the Lexus RX – which made it all but certain a production version wouldn’t be far behind. And it’s not. Lexus has revealed a single photo (above) this morning to announce that a production version of the LF-NX – the Lexus NX – is heading for a debut at this month’s Beijing Motor Show.
What you’re looking at here is - in concept form at least - the all-new Mercedes-Benz MLC SUV. Yes, it’s called the Concept Coupe SUV, but with the coupe version of the Mercedes-Benz ML arriving as soon as 2015, it provides a pretty big hint of the shape of things to come. And when we say big, we mean big.
